Speaking of playing with a group of people in the game, that
is also a disadvantage of the game which is the fact that you need to play with
other people. This is a disadvantage because others can take games a lot more
seriously than others which can end with insults and conflict for those who may
be new to the game and may not know as much as others.
A really good thing about this game is the various champions
that are available to choose from. Although they do have to be bought through influence
points or Riot points which are the currency in the game, they can be easily
bought through playing the game. As I was saying with the champions, each of them
have their own characteristics such as special abilities, back stories and
strengths and weaknesses.
Another point to be made is that Dragon Age is an RPG based
game which means that there is a story being told in the background. So while
the user is playing the game they are also retracing the steps of the character
as they play the game. Now while in the game, everything from the speech from
the NPC's (Non player characters) to the background of the maps and the weapons
have been looked into with quite some detail and can make it seem as though the
user is in the world.
Additionally in the
game there are various types of roles that the character that the player can
choose from for their character such as a Warrior, Ranger or Mage. The
different roles can choose where the character will start at the beginning of
the story as well as the strengths and weaknesses they will have as they play
the game. For instance, a Warrior will have good defence stats and can only use
melee attacks while on the other hand a Mage will have low defence stats but
can shoot magic spells from afar. This is where the players personal feelings
will come into play to which role they wish to play.
