League Of Legends and Dragon Age Review

Both of these games are good in their own way but each also have their own flaws. The first game that I am going to review will be League Of Legends. This game is only on the PC platform at the moment but since there are millions of people who play this game daily, there could be a chance that the game could move onto consoles. The main objective of this game is that it is a MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) which in terms means that a group of 5 people are sent into a closed arena and fight other people or computer characters.
Speaking of playing with a group of people in the game, that is also a disadvantage of the game which is the fact that you need to play with other people. This is a disadvantage because others can take games a lot more seriously than others which can end with insults and conflict for those who may be new to the game and may not know as much as others.
A really good thing about this game is the various champions that are available to choose from. Although they do have to be bought through influence points or Riot points which are the currency in the game, they can be easily bought through playing the game. As I was saying with the champions, each of them have their own characteristics such as special abilities, back stories and strengths and weaknesses.

Dragon Age is an extremely different game to League Of Legends in the way that the game is available on many different platforms such as PC, Play station and Xbox. Whereas in League Of Legends most of the characters are mainly cartoon based in the way that they look, in Dragon Age the characters are very realistic because the user is the person who decides what the character will look like and can change almost every feature on them e.g. hair, cheekbones, eye width etc.
Another point to be made is that Dragon Age is an RPG based game which means that there is a story being told in the background. So while the user is playing the game they are also retracing the steps of the character as they play the game. Now while in the game, everything from the speech from the NPC's (Non player characters) to the background of the maps and the weapons have been looked into with quite some detail and can make it seem as though the user is in the world.

Additionally in the game there are various types of roles that the character that the player can choose from for their character such as a Warrior, Ranger or Mage. The different roles can choose where the character will start at the beginning of the story as well as the strengths and weaknesses they will have as they play the game. For instance, a Warrior will have good defence stats and can only use melee attacks while on the other hand a Mage will have low defence stats but can shoot magic spells from afar. This is where the players personal feelings will come into play to which role they wish to play.
